Objective : acquiring knowledge required to meet the standards for the maintenance and verification of suspended scaffolding winches, dismantling and refitting of winches with load tests.

Content :
 Technology of winches of suspended scaffoldings
- Main types of suspended scaffoldings - manual winches and electric winches
- Safety devices: service brake, secondary brake, overload control, speed limiter, limit switch, manual emergency lowering, checking the wearing of parts, fall-prevention device
- Follow-up components: traction sheave, idler pulley, electric motor, reducer brake, electric switch
Checks and tests
- Regulation in force: role of various actors (labour inspection, CRAM, OPPBTP), periodicity of checks and tests, hierarchy of applicable regulatory texts, texts to be applied: requirements and limits
- Implementing dynamic tests: execution of test operations, tests with coefficients to be used, recording tests on the sheet
- Operating procedure: selection of loads, placing on the test bench, reading the results.
- Maintenance of documents: inspection report, monitoring sheets with schedule of due dates, safety register
Validation : The professional training is validated by continuous monitoring and end of course examinations, which enable trainees who have passed the examination to obtain a training certificate.
Trainer : The Technical Director, the Design Draughtsman, the Workshop Foreman.
Educational resources : training room, computer equipment, demonstration plans and equipment.
