The platform is attached by 4 wire-ropes (2 working and 2 safety wire-ropes) on the collar of the blades.

An adjustable frame leans against the shaft of the wind turbine and is used to maintain the platform at a suitable distance from the blade.

The suspended scaffold for wind turbines slides on the frame as and when it is raised/lowered along the blade. The adjustment is done using hand winches.

Supporting wheels on the tower are used to stabilise the suspended platform.
