To ensure optimum safety, the FIXEO suspended platform on masts, equipped with e.lift 500 or e.lift 800 winches, complies with EN 1808 and meets the European directive no. 98/37 of 22 June 1998.

Top end of stroke detector: The raising of the platform is cut-off when one of the limit switches touches the mast cap fixed on the mast head.

Fall-prevention safety device: In case the wire-rope ruptures, 2 fall-prevention sliding bolts extend from the travel carriage (located between the platform and the mast) to block the platform on a mast rung. In case of slow sliding of a winch, causing the platform to tilt, the assembly safety device will stop the descent at about 10° tilt.

Anti-sway safety device: On the platforms, the anti-sway control is ensured by a safety system built into the FIXEO carrier stirrups.
