Fall-prevention systems for electric hoists: SECURICHUTE
According to the EN 1808 standard, the electric personnel lifting hoists designed for suspended platforms must mandatorily be combined with a fall-prevention system, acting on the safety wire-rope, in case of failure of the working wire-rope.
In normal operation, the safety wire-rope passes freely in the SECURICHUTE jaws. SECURICHUTE operates in the case of sudden acceleration of the travel of the working wire-rope and gets locked on the safety wire-rope.
The SECURICHUTE fall-prevention system must be fixed directly on the hoist or separately on the carrier-stirrup.
The SECURICHUTE fall-prevention system is available in 3 models: diameter 8.3, 9.5 or 10.2 mm in function of the electric hoist with which it is combined.
